replacing old radio bezel and climate control

Hey I've got a 97 civic SI and want to replace the radio bezel and climate control because mine is cracked. How do you go about this? Is it fairly easy? I was at first thinking of converting to the 99-00 model , but theres way too much work involved.

Can you snap a pic of it.

If its like my 98 then it should be a fairly easy thing to do. I can take mine off in about 10 minutes, but I have done it many time before. If you have never done it it might take you an hour depending on how fast you work. LOL

If you get a manual for your car, it will ahve all the steps in there. Just like a $20 Haynes or something.

you cannt convert the AC controls......
older ones are cable driven.... new ones are electric....

the best modified ones ive seen is where they RELOCATE the old controls into the LOWER like cup holder area thier.... then just fab up thier own new AC control plate...... or just keep the new controls up thier and gut the controls and just slap some plastic filler OVER the control knob holes and then put your switches in it or just leave it blank.....

I saw how to do the conversion on the net, although you have to replace so many parts due to the different systems that its not worth the hassle.

If you've got a 98 then we should have the same one. Are there lots of steps involved?
