replcing engine oil on 1993 1.6 ESi

hi, i have a K reg 1993 civic ESi 1.6 vtech, i am going to replace the engine oil and was just wondering how many ltres do i put in, also shall i use any kind of engine flush because the car is on 138k, (i also heard the vtech engines should replace oil every 3000 miles), my friend was sayin not to use any aftermarket engine flush because the chemicals are not good for the engine, also any reccomendations on which oil i shoud use, thanks

Maybe give it the Seafoam treatment, then drive it around for 50-60 miles or so, then change the oil

IIRC 3.9qts
