Exclamation Reward offered for locating my old honda civic-sentimental 1st owner wants to buy it

For sentimental reasons I am trying to locate my first car, a 1987 white honda civic sedan. I was the original owner 21 years ago and sold it about 9 years ago in Farmington Hills, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. It was originally a Canadian car and in all likelihood still has Canadian instruments, ie. a speedo and odometer in kilometers, which should make it fairly easy to positively identify as the number of this exact car combination imported from Canada to the US is quite small. It is a white 5 speed sedan with red interior and an aftermarket pop-up sunroof. Presumably it's still in Michigan somewhere, although it could be anywhere.

Anyone that comes across it online or elsewhere, if you can let me know I'll pay you a $200 finders fee.

Go at it guys...

Like I said I would think that the number of Canadian cars of this exact build imported into the US would number in the hundreds at most and maybe less. Shouldn't be all that difficult to locate. I am researching the DMV aspect of it but I have a lot of faith in the online community .

Without a VIN, your search may be exceptionally difficult. Do you have any reason to believe that it's not in a junk yard?

I'm working on getting the VIN. It very well could be in a junk yard but it was in exceptional condition when I sold it.
