Just like the subject says, I'm thinking about selling my 99 Civic EX. Car has 106,000 miles on it, and runs like new. Has some small dents and scratches, and the grill, bumper cover, and passenger fender have all been replaced with new pieces (unpainted). The interior is in good shape for a car with 100,000 + miles. Stock.

I've looked around a little, and in my area (Minneapolis, MN), and it would appear the same car with significantly higher miles is selling for between $4,000 and $5,000. Does that seem right? What do you think I can get for this car?

Edit: I just looked it up on www.kbb.com and it says $5,155 in "Fair" condition, and $5,865 in "Good" condition. When I completed the questionaire, it suggested that the vehicle is in "Good" condition.

 

seriously paint the panels. the difference it will go for will be more than you spend most likely.

 

+1 i wouldnt even buy a car if parts of it were not painted, i wouldnt want to have the hassel of painting it, it would lead me to think it was in a accident, and would be easier to go else where to find another car

 

yea paint the panels it will be alot easyer to sell and ull get more for it. 4 or 5 gs sounds about right my friend is looking for a civic and thats the prices hes getting.

 

If you paint it around here that would probably go for atleast 6k
