shifting question

Default shifting question

hey guyz is it safe to redline every gear in my car when im driving, or should i normally shift around 3000-3500 rpm? is redlining my engine safe for daily driving?

Who in the world shift at the redline for daily driving??? Drive it like you stole it.

If i were you i would shift around 3000-3500 that should be enough to get you going and you save more gas rather than shifting at redline.

Your engine won't take the redlining for very long if you do it all the time. What have you been doing for racing or foolin around? 8000-9000 RPM?

Red lining should be and only be for getting away really quick out of those sticky junctions or when u are r racing, how much petrol are u using a day??? 9 Gallon by the sound of it!!!?!?!?!

its going to wear on your motor, tranny, brakes and complete drivetrain quicker than normal.

okay thanks guyz i wuz wondering because my friend mysteriously destroyed his 94 accord seemingly from just daily driving. He had me under the impression that it is best to redline every gear.
