Is this civic worth it?
Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster.
My buddy is selling his 98 Civic Hatchback. Granted it has some pretty nice mods and an awesome sound system with low kilometers, but is it worth $7,500?
Here is a link to his post on Kijiji:

He also sent me this list of mods he had done to the car:
Tune Up list :
done at 117 500KM at Altech on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
Changed Parts
1. Water Pump Company: GMB
2. Water Pump gasket
3. Timing Belt Company: OEM
4. Timing-Belt Tensioner
5. Timing-Belt Tensioner Spring
6. Spark Plug Wires Company: NGK
7. Distributor Cap and Rotor
8. Valve Cover Gasket Set (Valve Cover Gasket, spark plug tube seals, and sealing washers)
9. Upper Radiator Hose Company: OEM
10. Thermostat and Gasket
11. Spark Plugs Company: NGK G-POWER
12. Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV VALVE)
13. Fuel Filter Company: OEM
14. Honda Manual Transmission Fluid (Oil) 3 bottles of 1L/ 1 U.S. Quart
I seriously like the car but I just cant decide if its worth shelling out this much money for a car this old. Suggestions?

It's a nice car, but not $7,500CAN nice. I don't know exactly what the conversion to USD would be, but I know it's more than I'd spend on an EK (even with that low of km on the odometer).
Honestly, with the mods done to it I'm surprised it doesn't have an Si cluster. I don't know how people can drive without a tachometer

Yeah I'd have to say not worth it, its a '98 stock under the hood. You can pick these up in good shape for under 4 grand with the same km's and do your own mods. The only thing I see on that car that is worth some money are the rims. Nice car, looks clean..just not worth that much
