alarm...everyone needs to start getting some pritection when they start making there car more fancy, just think about how much the alarm will cost and how much its going to cost when everything gets stoldin

 

I got a pretty good alarm on my car, it is real sensitive. Kick the tire, the alarm will go off.

 

I've been lucky so far. I've got an alarm too.

Nope, the cops never found it. They said that if they ever found it, chances were very good that it would be missing all kinds of parts anyway. Within days, the car is totally stripped and parts are being shipped all over the country. But insurance covered the cost, so Ive got a new car, and a new alarm coming soon.

This guy Alec I know had a 98 ITR, bored/stroked, full build, all motor, running on C12. It got stolen out of the shop while they were installing Sachs coilovers... Needless to say he got a whooooole lot of insurance money. He now drives a high 11-second WRX.

Cops didn't even take my cell phone number down when I reported it, even though I was going to be out of town for the next two weeks. That told me how much hope I had of seeing her again.

Now all I need is my check from the Insurance Company (gotta love full Comprehensive) to put down on a new Civic!

 

my civic got broken into many of times scariest was in ocean city ****ers got in without breakin the window unscrewed my ignition had it started but couldn't figure out how to get it off the ground to turn it.....thank god for air or my car would be gone all they got was a 100 tach couldn't figure out how i had the stereo in there broke the dash apart and ran it out of gas

 

My civ got jacked up, not stolen, less than 4 months after buying it. They broke the pax window and took my deck, amp, cap, dual sub setup...but they left the wires (how thoughtful!) They did it when I was deployed so my car sat in a near-empty parking lot in blizzard-like conditions for 4 days til someone found it...snow everywhere, and I'm still finding glass! But there has been a rash of high school kids goin' round breakin' into imports (mostly Honda) and stealin' things like center consoles, decks...even one steering wheel out of an EG! Everyone hates imports around here though, so that's not surprising. They just need to bring back the old punishments...You know, someone takes something, you take their finger...They take something big, you take a hand or foot! Problem solved!!!

Imports, especially Honda/Acura, have been and are going to be targets as long as there is modding and movies made 'bout them. There's not much we can do 'bout it. Sad, really.
