ok ...guy selling a 93(built in 11/92) to me for 2300.. its an ex(pretty sure....it has like 8 speakers...or 6...it looked like it had 4 speakers and 4 tweeters i'm not sure though, plus it had sunroof, tach, its a 5 speed, uhh...cruise, alarm)

he is installing a new clutch and something with the brakes. i dont know what engine it has though...it looks like all of the vtec engines but it doesnt have vtec on the valve cover. someone told me to look at some sticker on the engine..i only saw one and i think it was just a vin number and the only thing close to b16 or whatever said j16z or something like that....can someone tell me what engine it is? 93 ex coupe

 

if it is the original engine. a 93 EX would be a d16z6

 

which is the like...127 hp ones? i just dont want to have the 100 hp ones..lol

 

look on the left side of the block. i do belive that is where your engine code is, it should read d16z6!

 

There is a flat spot angled up toward you on the block right next to the bellhousing, down in the front of the bay. It has the engine code stamped on it.
