Default TB Tranny clutch?

When I push in the clutch i hear a whistling sound. What is this? I don't remember ever hearing it. I cant hear it when i and shifting through the gears because of engine noise but when I'm at a stop and I push the clutch in to go in first i hear this whirling whistling sound. Problem??

thanks

Brandon

Okay. Is it fine to continue driving like this until I can get it fixed?

sounds like ur throwout bearin. i got the same problem only i hear mine when i dont press the clutch. u need to change the TOB and grease it up. if your clutch is old might as well change it since the tranny has to be takin out. Kit comes with a TOB anyway

if you hear yours when you don't press the clutch and it goes away when you do press the clutch, you've got a shot input shaft bearing. TO bearing makes noise when you push the clutch in, if it's bad.
