I know the hatchbacks have fold down seats and all that, that's ideal for my needs (Transporting R/C airplanes and occasional 2x4's), but I really like the look of the coupes. Do any coupes have fold down rear seats or is the trunk self contained in every model except the hatchbacks? Thanks in advance!

Edit: I had a perfect 91 CRX awhile back (never should have sold that car), so I know a bit about Hondas, I just don't know where to start looking for a new one short of test driving them all.

 

96-00 EX models have fold down seats (60-40). I think the Si does too.

I can fit a lot of crap in the back of my car. I've moved a 5' table and a twin bed frame among other things. [&:]

 

i believe all 92-00 civics have fold down rear seats. my '95ex does, my friends '99si does, my sisters '99ex does, and another friends '95ex does. theres a key hole on the rear deckthat u use ur key to unlock the seats and be able to fold it down.

 

I don't think the DX's do though, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Well that's certainly good to know. I guess I just need to take my planes with me to see if they fit. I miss theearly 90's hatchbackform factor, I oncefit a full sizedpinball machine in my CRX!

 

maybe not, im not sure either...easy way to check if they do, if they have that key hole on the rear deck. also, i believe u can fold down the seat from inside the trunk. if i remember correctly, theres a little yellow rope hanging from where that key hole is, just move it to the side and i think the seat will fold down.
