Civics are hard to kill. My 90 had 350K+ before I dropped a v8 in her. =)
Thing smoked hard for two years. Burned oil. I even ended up driving with no oil reading on the stick. < didn't realize it, lol >.
As long as you keep oil in the motor, and don't bash it hard, it will last how it is. If you motor somehow dies, you can drop a low mileage motor in for under $500.
If your just wanting a newer car, then go ahead and sell it. Otherwise, just fix the few problems she has, and she will last a long, long time. Well, unless you fight a truck/car/pole. =P

yeah forgot to mention almost all junkyards carry civics man, and if you find a fresh one in your looking for about 4-600$ on the full engine.
D-series, im not sure about the B16 (si) that might cost your around 6-1000$ nevertheless, discounts at it's finest.

my salvage title 97 lx has like 2xx,xxx on it. i abuse the beejesus out of it every day. trans shifts all crazy, ac is iffy, but doesnt burn any oil. havent changed the oil in likke 15,000 now that i think about it... ****.
