Is it time to let my 95 Civic go?
#32
I know how that is - a lot of stuff breaking at the same time. My civic had the CV's break, clutch finaly ate dust. I fix clutch and CV's.. next DAY clutch pedal itself broke. Almost fix it, my cluster died. Got another one, rear control arm bushingwent. fixed it and a few weeks later the motor died. lol.
But I knew of all the issues well before they happened..well..not the clutch pedal. wtf honda, wtf? The thing is to take it in stride. Its a Honda, it will last a while. They can take more abuse than you think. Hell, MBrents' car is still running right? lol. Just start with the mot important thing to fix, and get it fixed, and go from there. It may seem like a lot right now, but in the long run it is well worth it. I'd rather throw parts into a car I know, than go buy another car that has unknown issues. We had a former member < justin > trade his civic for an '' AWESOME' thunderbird. Guy loved it..blah blah. Time came to show him that the car was a complete POS and needs sooo much more work than he realized. I'd really hate to see someone else trade/sell their car just to end up having a similar experience.
On a side note - Look everyone, justin WAS helpful with his decision!
