$408!!! for a TIMMING BELT!?!?!?! Damn, i only paid $250 on my old corolla..

I talked to the local honda dealer and they recommend changing it around 100,000 miles. They actually told me to wait until the 100,000 instead of getting it done earlier. The dealer quoted me 408 bucks to change timing belt and water pump. Believe it was something like 100 for parts and 300 for the labor.

It is doable, but your screw one thing up and it's an expensive repair!

I believe the recommended interval is 60,000 miles. That doesn't mean it's going to self-destruct at 60,001. Just get it done as soon as you can afford it or have the time.

definitely 100k+ in the 6th gens... might be lower in the older gens

oh ok, my manual says 105k or 84 months (7 years)
