Took out part of the OEM intake air box and ...!

took some of the intake part of my 97 civic ex-s, leaving only the filter box and for my surprise the torque gets really worse.
the only benefit, if it can be called as it, is the sound when you instantly full step on the gas pedal :p
yeah those engineers did make some calculus to build ours rides lol
will put back the plastics until my cold air intake arrives. wish it doesn't do the same as above.
one thing that make me cheer up is that i got to the mechanic that will tune my car and saw two bad ass turbo VTIs, one is with 450HP in dyno.
he was trained and work 10 years in a honda dealer and told me that a p28/p30 ecu with the correct harness jumper cable can be used in my auto car. i'll stay auto for now, and will start with some camshafting.
one important thing, that i saw, OBX camshafts are garbage! they got wasted really soon!
that's it mates!

...if you're doing a turbo project, what cai did you get and why?
I would have saved my money for the freakin turbo

the turbo project are for a not so soon future, because the mt are hard to find here. and those parts are rare so i can sell them easily and fast.
i'm saving, but can't stand riding so OE lol
bought some not expensive parts, none of them are branded. example, the intake was 15bucks :p

Yeah your engine is sucking up hot air. The cai will feel better (especially at WOT)
