Default Torque Dampener

What is the real with the torque dampners? How does it help preformance? If the title explains it, why would u want to dampen the torque?

i think more ppl know them as engine dampers. they lessen wheel hop, supposed to handle hp and torque better...pretty much does the same as stiffer engine mounts but easier to install and can be cheaper. im probably gena get an NRG one later on.

Yeah it will increase handling by helping eliminate engine/transmission jerk, wheel hop, keeps your engine more stable reducing stress on exhaust bolts, etc. If you have the money I'd go with both an engine dampner and motor mounts.

i would get motor mounts before i got an engine damper, but when you rev the motor it pivots backwards from the torque the engine produces.... the engine damper slows/stops the engine from moving so the engine gets better torque and doesnt move backwards
