Default Trouble finding these quantities (04 si)

I have searched but can't seem to find the answer.
How many 7th (I think) generation Si were made?
Bought a 2004 and Im curious..One day will these be considered 'rare'?
Never owned a Honda before so I am still learning.
Thanks!

What do you consider 'rare'? Think supply and demand. These cars were made from what,02-05?, so right there that will tell you production numbers weren't x,xxx, xxx. It's also rare if people want that car and there aren't many to buy. Say peope don't want it, but I bought it as well as many others. At some point in time ANY car will be considered rare it would just be a matter of how long. So I would have to disagree that no USDM civic will be rare. I am not sure how thouroughly you read my post but I was talking Si.
Anyways, some comments on my orginal question. How many 7th gen si hatch were made? Thank you

15000 each year is not even close to rare. 60,000 over the entire generation.

Thank you that is what I was looking for! Maybe youll think otherwise when you're driving a hovercar in 30 years and wonder what ever happened to those little bullet civic si!

Did you know more than 15 million Model T's were made. Is a model T rare nowadays?

These 02-05 hatch's wont be really rare for a really really long time.

Now if you ship over a Type R, now that will hold some value.

Model T's are rare because 14.97 million people were retarded enough to drive them straight into trees.

Honestly, in 50 years, no one is going to care about your underpowered mini-van'esque toy car.

I dont think they became rare due to 'retarded' people driving them straight into trees.

But you're right..I mean who would have thought anybody would care about a 20hp buggy on wheels in the future? Beats me!

The reason people care about model T's now is obvious... they are very important in the history of the automobile. The 02-05 Civic Si is a great car but it's not like it shaped the future.

i believe a crx will be of more value than your minivan in the future, reason the crx was only made form 84-91.

i had a 85 crx si with mpfi and ive never seen another in my life.

i see tons of the minivan si's so dont count on any value increase in the future

and as for what forty said about the model t" is somewhat tru back then people didnt understand and know to much about the model t "example" preventive maint. and repairs, also people were poor back then and if they did have one and it was in need of repair they didnt have the funds to fix it so most of them got scrapped or left to rot. not to mention the age of the model t". are you gonna store your si in a garage for 80 years?
