HI
I do have the master key but it will not open my trunk, I might buy a new lock set or take the old one out and see if i can get it working. Does any one have another ideas.
thanks jim

RE: trunk lock

why dont you try to make a spare key. it worked for me. before i had a key for trunk and a key for the ignition. when i went and made spare keys for each key it came back that one key can open everything. don't know why though

RE: trunk lock

The valet key is too thick to fit into the keyhole for the trunk. The notches on the key are the same though so if you make a copy of the valet key onto a normal thin blank, it will open the trunk too.

RE: trunk lock

I went to honda and had a master key made up but it did not work and found out all the keys i have are master keys .
I took the drunk lock set out of the trunk and soaked it in wd40 guess what ---------------------------------------now it works---------i am going to keep soaking it over night and then put some sort of rust protector on it.
thanks jim
