how much is he gunna sell you the type r motor for? i say forget the a/c do u really need it?

 

he would probally give it to me for around 2500 or a bit less I would think since it still runs well and comp. is good Ill have to ask him more though. I could do without the ac its just when I want to go for a nice cruise in the summer and its 30 C outside that is going to be hot! I drove the car last summer as a dd and said I would never do that again lol. Although I might look for a little truck or and old diesel truck for dd to my work. I hate to let go of my civic as I feel its a wasted money, although I would like something comfortable for summer and fast. I also really enjoyed the pull of a boosted vehicle since owning a 180sx last summer. damn decision making ;/

 

just thought I would post it up, my friend has a 1991 soarer he has for sale. Its got the supra tt motor in it (1JZGTE ) its got some body damage in the back of it but nothing to crazy. Only thing is im unsure of the soarers (not sure if I like them although they can be really fast with such a good powerplant, all the supra stuff works with this motor) and its automatic but the price is decent especially with obo. I could knock him down quite a bit, auto sucks but if I made it fast that wouldn't bug me so much lol

Throw a 2JZ in there and fix the body a bit and call it a day.

 

\i was thinking the same splat,, he is going to hold it until my next pay cheque, if I dont decide soon after he will sell it for best offer when the time comes I mean I could get if for probally 2800 If I have to take a small amount of that out from my credit card I will lol. Splat what is the difference between the 2JZ and the jdm spec 1JZGTE? I know the car now with the motor (1JZ although he may have the wrong code for it) is spec'd at around 300 bhp/tq and it is a twin turbo setup on these soarer gt's.
