Upgrade for a d16y7 non vtec
Hey whats Up guys I have a 96 Honda civic but its a Automatic, I have a 1.6l non vtec d16y7 only 106 h/p, But the thing is My civic is a 4dr and its only for show. But it is too damn slow for me I really want a lil faster car not the fastest or anything I just want to be able to move a lil faster when i want to pass someone or somehting you know? But I also Want to keep it automatic. Let me KNow what I can do to this Engine to make it faster or what I could do to it ? They are talking about engine codes. The D represents a "D" series motor, SOHC. The "16" is the size, in this case 1.6 liters. The other part signifies v-tec or non and the model, I'm not exactly sure on that part, and to be honest I don't know your engine code, but I am willing to bet it starts with D17.
