Waggle flashers
Does anyone know if there is a waggle flasher available for a Civic. The kind that make the flashers blink alternately with BU lights kind of like the emergency vehicles.
It would look a little like this http://www.galls.com/widgets/flash/backflashers.gif |

Yeah - that's not illegal for non-emergency vehicles, or anything....

As long as you use existing vehicle lighting I have been led to believe that it is OK. It would be much safer as I tend to stop at all sorts of odd places. I use the Civic to deliver out of.

RE: Waggle flashers
To actually answer your question, I kind of doubt such a kit would be Civic-specific, you'd probably have to wire up something custom.

RE: Waggle flashers
I agree the Civic lights (except maybe the headlights, and you don't want those flashing on and off) are quite conventional wiring. A unit for any car should work, though you'll have to pull a wiring diagram to determine how to hook it up.
If you're using your car to deliver pizza, and you just have standard insurance, you are not covered for any pizza-related accidents. Unless you can keep the company from finding out. |
RE: Waggle flashers
yeh i agree mxs if there was such a kit it would be a generic kit, though you could make one of those from parts of old cars fairly easily (from the scrap yard)
