one guy sead wash it all the time to get the salt off and what not..the other guy sead not to wash it because the water reacts with the salt and will create rust faster...what do u guys think?
I say wash the salt off. If it's washed off, how can it react to the water and create rust?

IF your wanting an excuse to get a new paint job then hammer down, otherwise i would stick with doing it yourself.
I have seen too many people complaining about theuir car getting scratched after going through the autowash.

I've been going through the car wash (in the winter only) for the last 2 winters and I've had zero problems with scratching. Of course it doesn't last very long, I went yesterday and my car was clean for almost 24 hours and then I drove somewhere. [:@] So I go to the place that has a 5 day full guarantee, and 10 day half price guarantee. It adds up but it's cheaper than getting rust fixed.

That makes no sense to me. He says you should just let the salt sit on your car?! And how does water from the car wash differ from water that gets splashed onto your car, or melting snow??

What's this about a guarantee, never heard of that before?

if it gets dirty again within 5 days, they'll wash it again for free. Or, if it gets dirty within 10 days, they'll wash it again for half price.
