Water for Gas conversion?
Has anyone ever done the water for gas conversion on their civic? Is this real or is it a scam? Sounds like a scam to me... but the theory behind it seems real...

You mean like a hydrogen powered car that uses electrolysis to separate oxygen from hydrogen and uses the hydrogen to run?
They exist but there expensive a s***. |
or are you talking about a water injection system?
|
No apparently its a hydrogen/gasoline hybrid which supposedly increases your mpg by 40%. Just google water for gas and theres so many sites that talk about it. I dont know if its a scam thou...

a hydrogen boost system?
|
It's a scam. The theory behind it proves that it can't work when you actually run some numbers instead of waving your hands in the air.

yeah its a scam. Its been posted here on the off topic section

SCAM lol i read for bout an hour in other thread all interested only to be dissapointed at the end because its all a scam lol dam it

HHO?
yea it's a scam |
Think about it for a minute. You cannot get more energy out of something then you're putting into it. SO if your car is performing the electrolysis (using your cars generated electricity) to split water molecules and then burning the hydrogen it's a loosing game. Alternators are only at best 50% efficient. So you're going to see a drop in fuel economy.
