I was searcing around and I found this site..everything there is to take weight off the civic
"every 100 lb removed from a vehicle equals [approx.] 1/10th of a second improvement"
pretty much covers everything from your hood, to your rims, to the bolts on your car...
very interesting but i doubt i would do this stuff....
