get a b18a or b and boost it...it has low compression and can take 10psi with stock internals...really cheap...especially if you buy just the motor...then you can get a b16 lsd tranny!

http://www.streetimports.com/default.aspgo their dude. they have awsome deals..when you get their click on products catalog and scroll down to JDM Engines. They have full engine and all w/ brand new mounts to fit exactly for your car and brand new axels to fit for your car and motor of your choice. and LSD is their for option as well which is like 300 dollars more if that. Super good deals. That's where im getting my H22a from. for my 94 civic. Its going to be sick.

GSR is pretty much the ultimate engine. H22 is too heavy and it's pretty much maxed out. Go with the GSR, but not the one with a huge hole in it.

Why don't you rep the D and turbo it?

You can boost your current engine on stock internals too. Ask that dude if the motor comes witha warrenty. Most engines come with a 100% startup guarentee and a 30 day warrenty.

forget the H23 if your considering an H series engine. the H22a (especially the japanese H22) has higher compression and more horsepower output. it pwnz.

also JDM H22s are running less than $2500 on www.streetimports.com, which sells complete swaps. you even get new motor mounts and axles.

as for handling and weight concerns. forget them.

H22 swaps are fairly common now in EG civics and DC integras. the weight gain is more than offset by the increase in torque and horsepower.

even though h23's have less hp they have more torque which is what is good in a civic. they have more potiental to gain from it. it is easier to build HP than torque.

I would rep the d by doing a mini me swap and then boosting it. Or a B series motor.
