RE: What is a 1st gen car?
for a civic, 1973-1979
Basically, it's considered to be the first production run of a car.
For instance, my mom had a '01 Ford Escape which was the 1st gen for that.
I believe they had about a 1.2L engine, with like 50HP

I might be crazy for mentioning this, but I think Suzuki is trying to follow in Honda's footsteps here in the US, and I might be even crazier for saying, but I think they have a pretty solid car.
I think the future is bright for Suzuki's US automotive ventures.
I love their bikes, best I have ever or will ever own. I have had 4 bikes, Ninja, Ducati, Yamaha, and Suzuki, and I wouldn't trade my GSXR for anything. It was an awesome machine.
