i need more power!!!!!! d17 engine doesn't do anything for me. so i need to put something else in there to mod. what could i put in?

An LS1 would fit with some modifications :D

On a serious note, the largest Honda engine you're going to be able to fit without a lot of modifications while still remaining legal (legally, a swapped engine must be from the same year or newer car) would be a K24 (2.4L DOHC vtec). You'll definitely be happy with one over your D17.

lets say hypothetically speaking i didnt care if it was legal or not waht would be the best automatic engine to put in the car a rsx type R, a prelude, or soemthing else im up for all options

again what reaper said, the k20 motors are going the most power with the easiest swap. the RSX type S is the best us market k motor that I am aware of.

K20 is the biggest motor you fit, before you start cutting your firewall and frame to fit something like a V6 or something.
