Hey I ran my clutch in on my 2000 honda civic si v-tech and now i want a stage 3 clutch. Does anyone know if the brand Gripforce is any good at all? For real, they got a stage 3 clutch for a real good price, but i dont know if there product is good. Help me out. Any comments?

you don't need a stage 3 clutch for your si vtec if you are not pushing atleast 210whp. i would look into exedy stage 1's. that's what i'm running right now in my b18c motor. only cost me $150

If its a daily driver, a stage 3 will get irritating REAL fast

 

so for over 210whp you have to go with a stage 3? Are they hard to deal with or what?

 

^ i don't think so. i think he just used 210 as an example for the output on a stock clutch, over 210 it would be safe to upgrade to a stage 1 to save you trouble

 

i dont think you will need a stage three unless you are pushing 350 hp. dont hold me to that but i think that is the hp rating on the stage threes.

 

+ a few more...........im on a stg 3 with 7.5 lb flywheel, sucks major ***. i get a whole lot of chatter taking off and sometimes between shifts from the 6 puck. exedy stg 1 is a great choice for a dd..........great clamp force and a decent disc for the money.
