what car model is faster?

civic or prelude

Def prelude, has more hp

hmmmm well you need to make your poll a little more specific since they stop making Preludes in 01 or 02 and still make Civics. Now if you compare the last model year Prelude to the same year Civic, then yes the Prelude stock for stock is faster. However with the Civic being so much lighter just a few simple bolt ons and the Civic is smoking the prelude.

Now if you take the last model Prelude and compare it to the last model Civic Si, then the Civic smokes the hell out of the Prelude.

2008 Civic Si > 2001 Prelude

2001 Prelude > 2001 Civic

yes true true just wanted to spark good polls

+1 to prelude most definitely. I'm assuming that we're talking about the years that relevant years that the car was in production like you guys mentioned. Besides, it just looks so pretty~

Definately a prelude. If you compare a 5th gen to a civic si of that year the prelude would win. If you compare a 5th gen prelude to a 2007+ si then the civic will win but not by much. But obviously the Civic si are more powerful now. They dont have the prelude so thats basically their well known performance car now.

Well a prelude with 200hp vs a civic with 200 hp, be a close race.

all stock, a Prelude will beat some of the older Civics, some of the new SI's and Type-R's have more power than them though. Most base model Civics a Prelude would beat though.
