just did my 1st oil change at the shop with penzoil synthetic I picked up from Walmart. They were on sale for just $20! although it's 5w30... the manual said use 5w20 but I googled and most ppl say 5w30 will work too, so hoping it's ok

I normally use Castrol, but only because I am not ballin' and can't afford Royal Purple/Amsoil/etc.

With any car I have ever owned Redline has always treated me well. ESPECIALLY transmission fluid. But their regular motor oil is supreme IMO. No personal experience but I hear Royal Purple is equivelant.

I burned a little bit of oil between changes when I was running Mobile 1. I switched to Castrol GTX High Mileage and now it doesn't burn any.

Voted Castrol

Mobil1 SuperSyn for me

Advance Auto parts had a deal a while back for 5 quarts and a mobil1 oil filter for $29.99. Killer deal, especially considering I only end up using like 3.5 qt
