i usually shift between 3-4k, but i usually dont look at that, i go by sound most of the time. in my 91 hatch, it doesnt have an rpm meter on there so i have to go by the sound.

 

umm about 2.5 - 3 k rpm normal driving wise and when i race just before it redlines so im guessing around 7000 ... i redline once a day :-D not good but i used to have a fc3s ( 1988 rx7 non turbo ) and in the manual it siad recommanded to redline once every time driven so i jsut stuck to it after i sold it and got the civic

 

Normally around 3-4k (although i don't usually look) when i get on the highway and i am drivin it normally... about 4-5k and when i have fun i go around redline.

 

i jsut want to state i was driving yesterday and if you shift around 2.5k from 3rd to 4th your going around 32 mph lol .... so i think most people shift close to 3k even tho during i shift around 2.5k below 3rd gear and after id say about 3k
