i've been going through a lot of trouble figuring out my dealer said it was an ex but he lied because it doesnt have abs breaks. on the back near hte trunk it doesnt say anything: i would think that means its a dx, but it also has a/c, cruise control, etc (luxury features). its 2002, i dont think they could have gotten that wrong.

is it possible that someone ordered a dx and just got extra features?? idkkk someone help.

Are you sure it doesn't have ABS? are you sure it just hasn't been kicking in?

 

well, its confusing. the fusebox under the hood, its "key" or "map" to it i guess, has an abs spot. for like 40 fuse or something. but i figured that was just like under all hte hoods? because there's no light on my dash that says "abs" and if there's any chance that i do have it, its not kicking in.

annnnd on the information of the car, it doesnt say its abs ( i had to pay more insurance)

 

Have you done the abs test? on a stretch of road with no one around just slam on the brakes, if they lock up then you don't have abs, now you should be able to feel some response from the pedal if you have abs, but i know some systems don't have that, alot of cars i've been in with abs didn't have an abs light on the dash as well. so it may just not have the light

 

the easy answer is does it have a sunroof? only ex's and si's have sunroofs if i remember right.

believe me i've slammed on the breaks plenty of times and yes they do lock up no doubt about it. i never knew it was such a pain in the *** not to have them. im guessing maybe someone got it in dx but ordered it more features? you can do that.. right??
