Default whats next?

sup guys, i have a 2000 EX D16Y8, 170k but i just put my sri in today and it sounds pretty good. Just wondering what you guys think that i should do next? New engine...rebuild it or keep going with i/h/e whatever, i'm open to new ideas. thanks.

ps. i want to do most of it (if not all of it) by myself, so i don't think i'd be interested in swapping...

I honstly don't know but I think that if you don't have too much experience with engine work then I don't think you would be able to put your valve train back together after u rebuild. But like I said I have no idea what I'm talking about.

The thought of burning oil didn't even cross my mind until today, when i realized that i was very low on oil. It can't be more than a month since i put oil in it. Is that normal or what? I just got the car in August so i'm not THAT familiar with it.

a **** load. Lets just say the engine will be much cheaper than the labor. I'm going to go say labor will probably cost ya 100% of the item or greater
