what i would do is maybe think about a used motor....... outta a rear ended car id say for best buy.....



you could try rebuilding it yourself... just be sure to buy a good rebuild book.....

but all the tools needed to do a proper rebuild can get expensive.....
piston ring bands,, torque wrenches... all special assembly lube.... a oil pump prime unit....
cause you dont want to start up a motor until it has oil has pumped thru the motor before start up.... it can be started BUT wouldnt be a good idea at all!!!! that start up will cause ALOT or wear! and thats very bad during break in time!!!!!

its best to pay to have it rebuilt.. or buy a rebuilt motor and if ya got the tools and time swap it in yourself.....
or just start saving your money and pay for it all to be done!
your motor is very important!!!!! ya dont want to take any risks if your not sure you can do it right.....


but for now just keep an eye on the oil level..... and put in some engine restore... cannt remember the name of the stuff... but its in a silver cylinder can.. its a oil additive and they sell them in 3 sizes, 4,6,8 cylinder engines.... same stuff just the more cylinders the larger can.LOL
that stuff works preaty good for some engines that are burning alittle oil.......
and maybe some PROLONG oil additive as well...
