Anyone checked out the FIT yet, I see them alot around here, didn't know the skibby on them, thought I would make a post and see if anyone has driven one, or if people think they are going to be hot.

I haven't even visited the site to check them out, just a post for the sake of conversation I suppose, unload :-)

I like them, dont see myself buying one but they took the civic's place as the base honda model and will incompase lightweight and nimble like the 4g hatchs and sedans. Plus there is allready a very healthy aftermarket for them because Mugen, Spoon, and the other major aftermarket companies have welcomed it with open arms.

id consider it as a project car if i had moneyburning a hole in my pocket. the Fit is, like Marty said, taking the place of the civic as the base, affordable model for honda (once the stupid dealer markups are gone anyway) so the civic can move upscale to help take the place of the RSX. thats why we finally got the new Si that is pretty much a type r, since it wont be competition for the Acura segment. another interesting thing is that Acura wants something in their lineup to help fill the void of the now defunct RSX/Integra platform, so expect a TSX coupe in the next year or two.
