Where is my Distributor Cap

I need to order the Honda OEM Cap but i can't find it in any diagrams, same goes for the rotor, i can't seem to find it, i get the feeling like my car doesn't have a distributor cap and rotor.

Starting with 7th generation Civics (01-05), they became distributorless. The ECU determines spark timing, and each plug has its own coil.

Ah i had a feeling i didn't have a distributor, as i can only find up to the year 2000 on ebay and nothing for 2001. So your saying i have to buy 4 ignition coils for a tune up? That's expensive. Each honda oem coil is $40 on Majestic. Holy cow that's crazy i'm not spending $160 if i don't need to. Is there any way to tell if they need to be replaced? I mean really that's alot of money.

The coil and ICM of Civics with distributors last about 150K miles. My guess would be that your coils should also last this long. If one of the coils goes bad, the ECU will throw a misfire CEL trouble code. Just replace the spark plugs every 24K miles.

Ok well i guess i'll wait another 40k then and replace them all at the same time then. Yeah your right about the misfire CEL cuz i got that when i replaced the spark plugs and the cable that connects to the coil wasn't properly connected so the CEL came on and the computer threw out cylinder 1 misfire.

Thanks fr your help as always RONJ
