Who else is modifying a 2008 civic?

Guys,

I'm currently addicted to modifying my 08. I am just looking for others working 06, 07, 08's. I'm curious what you have done and plan to do in the near future if anything? I'de like to have some people experienced with my exact car to bounce ideas and questions off of. Look forward to hearing from you.

men why you want to do that...they look great as it is...but theres nothing better than be original...genuine...do what you like...not what other people like!

lol not a fan of the new civics ... to bulky for me

I didn't say I would be doing what other people like. I just said I wanted to bounce ideas off people.

I can respect leaving them original. But I find it fun to work on the car and personalize it. Just not in a ricey way.

I"m replacing my grill this weekend, and front headlights, I changed the tail lights already. And putting a header on, taking my CAT off, putting 3" piping all the way back to a Borla muffler. SRI intake, and then in the spring I'm putting ona 7 psi turbo kit. So I want to perform better to give it a little more pep. And I just want it too stand out. But that's just me.

I know it's prolly tough cuz there are not a lot of 06-08 civic's out there yet. and even fewer people modding them. This place would prolly be your best bet for having lots of people who know about the 8th gen. Just dont forget us over here at HCF. lol! http://www.8thcivic.com/

Yeah, I'm a member on there too. But I like this forum better. So I spend my time here during work :)

Hey shouldnt you first break in your car before you start modding? Btw does it affect the warranty anyway?

V8DIET 08-15-2008 09:51 AM

Yea it will void the warranty but it IS a honda. Has anyone ever had to have anything (drive train related) covered under warrenty?
