-- on accident - 130. Was late, was tired, was on bike. Didn't notice speed till I saw the Christmas tree. I did pull over, but he must not have seen me get off. Just flew by me. Made me smile. =)

K- Guess its time for my most embarrassing minute - and its the muscle minute.
Bought a BRAND spankin new '05 dodge ram. My first stick shift, and it was a 6 speed.
There's a place on the local cruse that a lot of trucks meet at, and do burnouts. Its a safe spot for it, and its away from the main street. Nice little setup.
Anyways, I kept watching these old trucks doing **** poor burnouts, and figured I'd see what the new truck had. SO, I rev, I dump, I spin spin spin. Thing had more ***** than I thought it would. Being a natural showoff, I slammed into second, and light up the sky with a wonderful cloud-o-smoke. I let off brakes, and turned wheel, and slid. I then turned the wheels the other way, and tried to slide to the exit.
..Things start going poorly...
I couldn't grab traction, and ended up going toward a VERY small, little baby white fence. Would be a little bit taller than were my bumper stood. I figured I'd be Mr. big and bad, and ram it. < cant dodge it, ram it right? >
Well, RAM it I did. Next thing I know, I am FLYING in the air, and I MEAN FLYING. TURNS OUT.. on the other side of this little pathetic little fence, was a POLE. The pole ran along the length of the fence.
As I was in the air, I had enough mind about to slam the clutch in, hit 1st, and rev. As soon as my tires hit the deck, the wheel was spun, and that clutch was let free. I got into my own lane real quick, and noticed the lovely smell of fuel, and the wonderful shake of a destroyed tire. When I finally got to pull over, the truck was all kind of screwed up. Ripped the front bumper to crap, tranny was hanging on by a bolt, gas tank was dragging, rear bumper was dragging, rear end was all kinda leaking, front stocks were bent and one was leaking out, bent a leafspring... Girlfriend WAS PISSED.
Man... that was a BAD night. My insurance company didn't like me at all. No sir. Not at all.

Whats worse - it was ALL caught on video. And under review of the video, we all concluded the that tail gate cleared all of six foot, and the nose must have been at 7 or more. That was my last burnout. lol

Moral of story..
Dont put a young guy in a powerful truck WITH a 6 speed.. especially when the kids a showoff. Or, at least, make him go to a better, bigger parking lot. lol. BTW- STILL HAD PAPER TAG. I just didn't know that truck.

Like i said.. NEXT.. I know ya'll are holding back some stories. Get to sharing. You wont be able to beat mine.

Ive got a couple of moments though. It was about midnight on a Friday, I was driving my 89 Ford Tbird SC (for those that dont know, its a Supercharged 3.8l v6, 5spd Tbird)
I had done quite a bit of work to it at this point... She was running High 11s - low 12s.
Had a spool out back instead of the LSD, for better traction in a straight line and for a good launch.

Now, here comes the stupid part.... I was with a group of friends in a rather large parking lot, and we were messing around, drifting figure 8s around the lil concrete islands in the lot. When it was my turn, I was doing just fine, until I decided to try and loop another 8 around the next set of islands. I had picked up a bit too much speed heading to the next ones, and as the back end broke loose to slide around, I kept going in my original direction.....except I was sideways.. oh $4!+ !!!.. Headed right toward the 2nd island. My left rear wheel contacted first, and shattered the rim, and bent the control arms, strut, axle, nuckle and thats not even the worst part... Once that happened the car kicked up on its left side and the roof came to rest against the light pole in the center of the island....and to add insult to injury, it tapped it just hard enough to shatter my moonroof/sunroof glass.

Moral of the Story? Dont drive like a douche bag, unless you have a 4-5 point restraint, and at least a half-cage (like i did) LOL

 

I was driving my bros cobalt threw town just to get out of the house and maybe run into some friends at walmart well i stopped at a red light and i see a yellow v6 mustang with a huge spoiler(I mean this thing must of been two feet tall lol) on the back and i just busted out laughing. When the traffic light turned green he took off spinning like crazy and i just had the urge to just smoke him. Well i blown passed him and let off and kept going about my business. I got to walmart and he pulled in after me and stopped and wanted to race again. Well being the dumb teenage i am i took him down to the an old county road where hardly anyone goes and we raced. I bet him again and he wanted to try it again one last time. Well as soon as we about to race a state trooper shows up and busted us lol.

Today I saw a kid in a Camary talking trash about how bad his car is so I walked up and asked him whats up the hood. He said he had a turbo system with a 500 shot of Nos. I started busting out laughing. So I asked him to pop the hood and lets see this system. Well he started saying, "Nah Nah I can't let yall see cause yall will see my secrets." I said what secret that your full of bs lol. So he pops the hood and says that his alternator is a turbo and a fuel line is the Nos lol. Everybody in the parking lot was laughing. He jumped in his car and takes off wide open out of the parking lot and a cop got him lol.

 

Yeah I've learned my lesson on street racing. All my racing stays on the track for now on lol.

 

^^lol, you reminded me of this kid who had a jetta (not a nice one, an old ****ty one), said he wanted to race me... so i asked him what was done to it, and he was like "you know the regular, intake, header, exhaust, intake manifold." so i asked him to show me, because i honestly wanted to see it, i didn't really doubt him at first... but he just goes "man you don't show someone what's under your hood." i called BS on that one and agreed to race, and then he goes "i don't have enough gas."
obviously he was lying about the parts then if he challenged me to race and then backed down when i agreed. what a ***
