Which would be a smarter choice?????
So about a month and a half ago my car was hit in the rear driver quarter panel. I didnt have full coverage and it was a hit and run. the car is not totaled it can be fixed. My ? is should i get my hatch fixed or should I try and find a shell and swap the motor into that... here is a pick of the damage and a pick of what the car looked like before the accident its not in bad shape no rush at all just this nice crinkled area now.... Also the wheel well behind the dent is crushed in about an inch or two it now lines up an inch into the tire...
Here's the damage
Here's the rest of the car

well to fix alot of damage you can simply buy a quarter skin....
it shouldnt be to hard to fix.
not to call ya a lier but that doesnt look like a hit and run.... that looks like you spun sideways and hit a pole of some type....
but anyways i would just fix it IMO. just take your time with the body work... use a hammer and dolly where you can and really try to keep the bondo not to thick. just be sure to block sand the panel to try and get it as straight as possible. it may look straight but any uneven spots will look horible once you paint the car.... paint has a way of magnifying flaws 10fold!
