After being a previous owner of a Mustang and switching over to the Civic is going to be quite the change. Mustangs are muscle, they have speed and the start is no difference. The big problems they do have is trying to keep there traction since they have power.

i wouldn't say that the cost/performance ratio favors the mustang a lot more, it's easy to get a light civic a lot faster with cheap upgrades than a heavy mustang faster with similar upgrades

okay just to clear this up, stock v6 stangs have a 3.8 and gt's have a 4.6, a stock v6 is making 200 or close to and your makin 127? i think that is what you said, also stangs are rearwheel drive so they take off faster, unles your boosted the stang will have you, and h22 might be ablr to keep up as well but thasts about it. i dont think they make a 3.2, i could be wrong but ive never heard of it before.
