WTH? How many gallons does my civic hold?

I understand that I have a 12 gallon tank. (2001 LX)
well today I was almost on E, so I stoppped to fill up.
I put 13.4 gallons in it!
How is that possible?

It holds 13.2 gallons. Any gas leaking from the bottom of your car? lol

It sounds like the extra .2 is in the filler neck.
