Default 315 Customs Integra from JRSC to Ls/Vtec project.

I bought my 1997 Acura Integra in April of 2007 with 188,xxx miles on it and a bad clutch. Put a new clutch in it and some other misc add-on's. At approx 202,xxx miles teg spun a main bearing damn near threw a rod throw the block.

My buddy hooked me up with his LS engine that block was disassembled but had been bored .020 (81.5mm) over with JE Forged pistons and eagle h beam connecting rods. He also hooked me up with his LS head which already had a triangler valve job and Crower dual valve springs with titanium retainers.

I took the block up to my machine shop and asked them to hone the cylinders and reinstall the JE Pistons and Eagle rods. After the hone the pistons ended up with 7 thousandths of an inch too much play. So I bought some Weisco 82mm flat top pistons. Had my machine shop bore the block again and install the weisco pistons on the eagle h beam connecting rods.

Then finally after 3 months of no car I dropped my freshly built engine back into the teg. Drove the car n/a for a while then at approx 208,xxx miles I was no longer n/a due to adding a Jackson Racing Supercharger. Spent two days installing that and the third day we installed Crower stage 2 forced induction cams. Heres the pics:

Ok so I got the car tuned and everything and just wasnt happy with the power output of the setup. I decieded I wanted to produce more power and found a good deal on a B16 Vtec head from a 2000 Honda Civic Si. So this past weekend I stripped the top half of my engine down and prepped for the install of the vtec head. I ordered my Golden Eagle Ls/Vtec conversion kit with ARP head studs today!! I also ordered a 28 Pin EPROM chip from Phearable.net with a basemap for my LS/Vtec since I'm already running a chipped and socketed ODB1 p28 ECU. Heres pics of the tear down and as soon as my conversion kit comes in I'll post pics of the head install.

The Spoon header didnt make its way on yet because its for a GSR so the collector is too long and I need to modify my exhaust to make it work. It will be on shortly.
