okay here it is. in a nut shell.
sold my dc =/ bittersweet moment for sure. it needed to much work and i didn't have enough time for it. sooo i sold it and used the money i saved up to buy my friends completely stock 96 civic.
bought new struts, tokico blues, with eibach ground control adjustable coils. they are temp right now until i can buy skunk2 full coil overs.

any ways

here was my list but obviously it has changed a little



please don't make fun of me for guessing the wrong amounts or for calling it a "lowering kit" hahah

things to add would be
blox lca's
and subframe brace
and skunk2 coil overs
and yellow fogs
rear window visor
tow hook
and 50mm lugs
and paint my rear bumper
and si tail lights

i want to keep this thing simple and clean

i have already replaced all belts
coolant flush
obviously oil change
air filter
spark plugs
fixed vacuum leaks
and replaced the catalytic converter
installed type arrrrr lip
installed 6k hid's
wrapped my lip
[i already know there will be haters (; ]
and put on my oem hood bra
and put on the side window visors
and (konig wideopen)

haha, minus the stereo system, tow hook, air conditioning and then add motor mounts and that's pretty much the same shopping list I have!

I'm not too worried about my ****ty exhaust system at this point. Sure, its loud and annoying, but I think the money could be better spent somewhere else. (like my transmission)

Looks like a decent project. Not sure how I feel about the wrapped lip. What did you wrap it with? I was considering wrapping mine with in camo. Any plans to get the back bumper painted?

And I've had sh!tty exhausts before too, easiest this to do for temp. Would be to call up a small local muffle shop and ask if they have any stock ones laying around.

As for my bumper I recently found out that my paint is hard to find. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Possibly buy an already painted one from ebay

 

Any paint shop even remotely worth paying to do anything should be able to match and mix any color you want.

Maaco and the like is def not the way to go if you want it to look even half decent.

That said, I like the car. Looks like a fun project.

 

yea i am going to be getting it painted pretty soon i actually found a shop down here who is going to hook it up for me, I've helped one of the guys in the past.

My car started making a noise only when I break tho. Low rpm's
Sounds like my fuel pump. It's wierd it's recently started happening. Any suggestions?

 

Noise coming from the brakes? I can't see it being the fuel pump. That would make no sense. The fuel pump runs constantly as the car is on.

 

It's a noise only when you brake? It's for sure the leopard print lip... Take it off and you should be fine.

On a serious note... You sure it's not your... Brakes?
