I got a lip for christmas. Just haven't put it on. I'm just waiting til it gets alittle warmer out, then my cousin has a hook up with body work because his friend went to school for it. My cuzin got his entire car painted for like 2-300+ supplies. So mines shouldn't be tbhat bad with painting a hood and fender. I already have a hood in good condition. Just need to prep it for paint.

ok, im going a new root for my wheels. i was thinking either si's or ls mesh wheels. but they are to big. i think im going to go with some hx wheels. i like they way they look and i think 14's would be a good size+good on mpg. i looked at car-parts.com and found some at a local junk yard for 45 each which is 180 for 4. decent price. and i might paint them gunmetal or black.

And I'm contemplating turbo'n in the future. A small turbo tho, just for a small pep in my cars step. What would be a good way of going about this.

finally got around to putting in the new tranny. got the ex/si one. and the bogging i had problems with in another thread was due to a bad dizzy. luckily is was under warranty, so i got another one. and now it runs alot better (seems like there was power missing before) and i didnt know vtec was not engaging with the old dizzy. but i feel it now.

installed rear speakers. now i have the alpine type r's int he front and infinity ref series in the back. the infiniti's are being powered by a alpine 4 channel amp, until i get the y connector to connect all 4 speakers. any1 know how to play with the amp setting to get good sound quality.

i took if off because it had some fitment issues. i guess im going to try some ones idea and put the lip in hot water to kind of strech it out. one of the ends where it folds back (where it hold on near the wheel well) cracked. so i dont want to stretch it more because it will break.

Use some plastic epoxy. I once got a lip that was cracked and it was good for 2 years until it pissed off a snow bank.

^^plastic epoxy is what i was planning on doing. do you think putting a heat gun on the lip and trying to stretch it out will work?

don't use a heat gun it will cause it to stretch un-evenly. I just put mine on as good as I could and the pressure just naturally released it enough to slide it on properly altho I did it in the summer so you may want to do it in a heated garage
