Took the POS Intake Manifold and TB off the motor today. I say POS because K20a3's came with a plastic intake manifold lol. I'll take pics after I clean it up. Plan on swapping it out after getting KPro in the future but for now, it will work. Also took the thermostat housing/tubes off to clean and the charge harness as well. Not much else to take off before cleaning the motor itself.

I'm trying to decide between a Purple or white valve cover....

Here are some pics along with another one from last week.

Cleaned up the thermostat housing/hard coolant line, fuel rail and half of the intake manifold. The metal part of the IM is gonna get hot tanked since its reallllly dirty and I don't wanna spend the time its gonna take to clean it up.

Also, finally after what seems like months, I finished things up with the last insurance company. No totaled car! Car should be done at the shop today but I dont think I'll be off work in time to pick it up. I'll have to get it tomorrow.

Gonna throw on my 8mm front spacers when I get it back and I'll take a bunch of pictures

Heres one of the fuel rail

Got my car back on friday. Looks like nothing ever happened and new paint is always nice . Drove with the top off for the first time today also. I put the spacers on the fronts and the tires still clear the fenders. Took some pictures.

VERY NICE! (Borat voice )

Bet it's nice to have a freshly painted ride (some parts freshly painted anyway). Those wheels and stance in general looks bad @ss. Nice work there

How's the new paint look next to the old... is the difference noticeable?

And you should realllllly paint the fogs on that yellow. Someday when I buy a dc2 (hopefully in a few years) that wil be one of the first things I do... or a Del Sol. Looks amazing with the yellow.

I had yellow bulbs. But one of them blew in a week. But yea, I see what you're sayin.

Also, yes. The shine on the car is wayyy more noticeable now.

Headlight tint overlays for them ??? that'd be a cheapish way to do it...then you could use the stock (or oem anyway) bulbs that are more reliable.

This cite has em for $15 and the overlays are 24" x 12" ... http://www.houseofgrafix.net/Headlig...-products.html
