My engine looks like that. Tomorrow is when I have my alone time with her. I have to get that CEL code for sure. I think the CEL codes are freaking ingenious.

That's the extra bumper that came with the car. I suppose all I need now is the rear and I'm set for paint.

yup those looks like stock 96-98 front bumper. you should probably get the rear and side skirt. also i think while your at it making your car clean i recommend you get some OEM 99-00 civic tail lights, red on top and white on bottom, looks 100x cleaner

btw... where is Rancho Palos Verdes at? is it in southern california?

Yeah, I was going to see if I can find those tail lights. I really like how clean they look. I think the OEM side skirts are covered over the ricey ones on it right now but I do need a new rear and front left quarter panel. Rancho is south near LA. I know a few kids up in SF, if that's where you're at. You recommend the '99 front bumper conversion?

interesting never heard of that town before, i've been to LA, irvine, riverside, and rancho cucamanga in souther cal. I just recently moved to Sacramento but go back to SF in the weekends

front left quarter panel? you mean the front fenders? i personally like the 99-00 civic front ends. but not sure if its too much hassle to convert yours to one, involves getting the headlights, fenders, grill, hood front bumper, i mean if you dont mind replacing these things, then go ahead convert it. thats if you like it as well

heres a DIY i found, take a look at it to see what is involve

and here's another one

Check the first picture of the thread. The previous owner smashed the side on a railing and just repainted it. I don't want that cracked rice-ness so I'm looking for major part outs. I guess I can just stick with the OEM front end and work with the lip but I am a really huge fan of the '99 with the lip and fogs. That's a clean look.

i see, thats called fenders in case you need that to find the part to replace. definitely save up if you really like the 99-00 civic front end. but most importantly get that body kit off... just wondering is the car lowered?
