Not sure if the z6 and y7/y8 oils pumps are interchangeable. I would suggest to check out some Honda parts numbers to confirm.

Nope, the Y's have the dipstick hole and the Z6 does not.

Nothing wrong with a little cap action on the dipstick tube opening.

It is going to be ebay'd soon.

Subscribed. Thanks for all the pics! I plan on doing a y8 rebuild as soon as I get some $$$ and move into a place with a garage. I am jealous of your shopping skills. I bought a y8 fuel rail and injector set for $40 and I thought I got a good price.

I think I have both types at home man if you would like me to take pics of them so you know which one you have.

Basically if you put lets say a Z6 pump on a Y block then you will not have a dipstick hole at all, if you put a Y-pump on a Z6 then you would have to block the hole on the pump (or I think you can do more work and cap the block tube) because you would have two dipstick holes.
I'm not sure so much about Toda's but they aren't really worth it from everything I've read anyway. I personally would rather have a new Honda OEM one no matter the cost.
You'll be able to sell it easy though, good luck

Thankz man.
I'm trying to get better at my picture taking skillz, I hope to document the block rebuild in better detail.

When it comes to shopping skillz man, I pride myself on it, my broke a$$ has to. Patience is the biggest part, you have to be willing to wait for deals on things. Research is another, know what your looking for and what you can mix and match, what you can restore from used, what parts you need new. I havn't really "cut corners" either, I just know what I'm willing to pay for things and will hunt till I find them at or close to that price.

Wanna hear a deal you won't see often? I just ordered a AEM CAI (tube only) $30 shipped . I'll switch between it and my short ram depending on the weather and using the same filter for both

Good luck with the Y8 build

Picked up a AEM CAI (tube only) for $30 shipped from a member of DSO.
I'll repaint it and will be able to swap between this and my short ram as needed.

So you went .50 over too? Cool.

I'm trying to find time to swap. Last of my parts are coming in Monday.
