Reaper's Mustang Project (abridged version)
Thanks
And for the black, I'm still planning on modifying my hood (read: cutting it apart to run the heat extractor as deep in the engine bay as possible), so when I do that I'll probably just re-spray the spray paint (including the taillight blackout and I'll be clear-coating the headlights and taillights to match) gloss black until I can get the whole car painted. Hopefully the entire car will be re-sprayed next spring.
And I think the wing will look a ton better when the car is lowered. Right now it kind of looks "meh" since the car sits so high.
And I can't wait to get more stickers
. Unfortunately, most of the stickers I want have to do with being slammed so I'll have to wait until next spring to get 'em.

Thanks guys
It's not as functional as the 00R park bench, but I'll take reduced functionality over having a 1' tall wing on my deck lid.
And it'll look so much better when the car is slammed *cough* next spring *cough*
*edit: finally got around to changing my oil... let's just say it kind of needed it

All plans are pretty much going to stop, the rotors and pads that are going on the car will be cheap OEM replacements, and I won't be buying anything that can't be swapped over to a '01-'04 Mustang GT any longer.
If you can't figure out why, I'll spell it out: (reaper + V6 mustang + Mustang GT) - V6 mustang = win. I'm aiming towards after tax returns next year, but if I get impatient I might do it this fall
I've heard too many V8 mustangs with exhausts in the last week to like the exhaust note and lack of power that comes with my V6... so since my V6 will never sound like an 8 and swapping a 4.6L into my car isn't cost-effective, I'm just getting an 8, swapping over everything I can, and selling the 6

So what i get from this is your geting a v8 stang and swaping parts from this over, right? If so, THAT SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!
Just keep in mind the STi your wanting lol In my opinion, STi>V8 Stang>V6 Stang

After price shopping, I realized for the price of a 5spd 01-04 Mustang GT coupe (surprisingly hard to find) I could just buy an '01 cobra; it'll cost around $2k more and be totally worth the extra cost.
I still want an STi in the worst way but Cobra > STi > GT > V6.
There were ~3,800 2001 SVT Cobra coupes made; all the engines were hand-built by SVT technicians. I'll take a 32v 4.6L DOHC V8 any day; besides, the Cobra makes more power N/A than the STi does stock-for-stock. Granted, it has double the displacement, but we're talking a power ceiling of well over 1,000rwhp here. I don't plan on taking it that far (I'd go mid-600's tops), but it's nice to know the potential is there.
Also, as for the V6, I still have about $1,000 worth of work to do to it before I can sell it. It still needs a door, rotors all around, rear calipers, new coolant, and now it needs a new mid-pipe and H02SB2S1. My mid-pipe is FUBAR, so I'm going to get a new off-road mid-pipe and swap my current high-flow cats over to it. The O2 sensor is pretty much gone; three of the four wires somehow got pulled out of the sensor, so there's pretty much no band-aids for it.
