LOL ya buy a cobra.... well not a good idea for several reasons.... one the fullprice, he got his stang as a rebuilt so got it cheap. second insurance bill for a cobra im sure would be nuts! because the insurance just insuring a base model stang.

its just like buying a SI compared to a dx or ex civic and upgrading it to just as good as a SI. expetialy if you get a killer deal on the lower model vehicle.

Does a Cobra have a V6? Its not only about having the car, its about working on it, and being able to say "I did the work, and its MY car" Doing the work yourself is so much more satisfying and you have a lot more pride in what you've created than if someone else did it for you.

Haha anyways, its looking great! Love the tips, and those lights will be awesome

If he would've bought a Cobra I'm sure he'd be modifying it too, then someone would've said "you should've bought a GT500 Super Snake"

Building something is half the fun.

What this guy said ^

I've seen just as many mustang pictures as truck and civic pictures.

what the hell does building a car with swapped parts off a Cobra mustang give you that buying a stock cobra doesnt?
Everyone knows Cobras dont have V6's dude.
and if your thinkin about running a tt setup on any car then insurance is the last thing on your mind.
Theres a difference between building something and using a platform more reliable and suitable for your power goals i understand where you guys are all coming from but he does have a very high power goal wasnt it something like 700hp which would be much better suited for a cobra.

The reason i mentioned to buy a cobra is because if you look at the amount of money Reapers planning on spending in the long run its about the same.

Seeing as reaper does post on Mustangforums im sure hes been asked and even thought about this im just wondering the reason behind the build.
