Reaper's Mustang Project (abridged version)
You missed the eleventy-bajillion posts where I mentioned shaving the door handles, gas door, and badges, didn't you?
(That's also why I included a fuel cell in the body mods... I don't want to shave the gas door until I have a cell in the trunk.)
Anyway, as promised, pics:

And I wired the fogs straight to the parking lights (for now, anyway. When I get the harness I'll be soldering the parking light harnesses back together all professional-like and whatnot
). Obviously, pics are next:

Really makes the 8000K's stand out, right?
But I'm not a huge fan of the paint not matching, so until it does, expect me to take as few pictures as I can get away with. I'll (hopefully) be painting the bumper over Christmas, but we'll see. And expect the car to get photowhored out hardcore (worse than I was with my civic) when stage I of the project is done
(Stage I = body/paint/suspension | Stage II = twin turbo build | Stage III = compound boost)

why not just spray paint the bumper cover a flat black to match the headlights and hood strip
just scuff it and spray it yourself for a temp.
and i hope you used a relay on the fogs otherwise ya might burn up the parking light wires pulling that much extra power. just making sure...

Meh, not worried about the wires too much. Assuming everything goes according to plan, I should have the factory harness and switch in the car next month.
And I plan on getting the factory paint code in spray paint form to use on the bumper over Christmas. I think I can live with a black bumper for another 10 days
*edit: and the wheels I was thinking about getting (Rota P45r's)? Just found these. I believe it's the first mustang with these wheels:
Bullitt1.jpg?t=1260822581
19x9/10, +20mm offset
Kind of makes me want to get them in 17x9/18x9.5

i tryed to photoshop ur car to make ur bumper paint match and have the black from the hood lines come down into the bumper but i couldnt get the red to match up right.. its gonna look sick tho when ur done
I think the entire bumper's going to be black... it'll make things a lot simpler instead of having the little section for the grille flat/satin/mid-gloss black.
As far as the wiring, I'm honestly not that worried; I almost never drive when I need to use my lights (leaving for work it's usually daylight, and I usually get off work before it starts getting dark), so yeah. Right now, the harness/switch kit is my first priority when I get the money.
Also, there's a body shop around here that does great work, but they're kind of pricey, so I think I'll stop in during lunch one day and see what they'd charge me if I do the prep work and they just lay down the paint.
With the wheels, I'm kind of torn. I love 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels and I have yet to see them in bronze on a red stang, not to mention they're cheaper than the rotas. On the other hand, the rotas are... well, look at them; they're amazing. Imagine them in bronze (rotas "actual" bronze is almost gunmetal as opposed to their gold-ish "sports bronze") in 17x9 up front and 18x9.5 in back... it'd look sexy as hell
