Those 01 cobra bumpers are sooooo awesome.

And I've heard that the upgraded brakes aren't really worth it. More of just a cosmetic thing.

Oh, and not to hijack this thread, but think you could help me out with this?

I actually got the cobra front from a 3.8 member

And yeah, the cobra brakes are (for a street car, anyway) not really any better than the stock v6/gt brakes. The biggest reason I wanted them was because I knew my front calipers were seized. But $300+ for cobra brakes are a little bit more than $90 for new front calipers.

Why thank you, good sir

If it ever warms ups around here, I might be able to get around to detailing my car and go on a true photoshoot. Just checked the weather. Snow for four out of the next five days, and the warmest it's supposed to be is 36 =/

I know what you mean, this weather is terrible. I need to get my stang cleaned up too. How much did you pay for that cobra front?

$340 shipped for the cobra front with the bezels and fogs. Then I have a friend who does paint, so it cost me $125 to have it changed from black to Performance Red.

And I'm from PA; I know all about cold weather. That doesn't change the fact that 36 is still cold. I should've moved further south

Yup, it was on the car when I bought it.

It's actually an '01 V6, but it was r-titled when I bought it and someone had put a 40th anniversary hood, gt front bumper, and gt rear bumper on it. Other than that, I bought it bone stock.

Here's a quick little tour around the car:

Then a pic of her right after I brought her home (parked next to my old ej1):

Right now, the run-down of it is:
-2001 Cobra front bumper/fogs/bezels
-1999/2001 Cobra (and 40th anniversary v6) hood
-GT side scoops
-GT rear bumper
-spoiler delete
-smoked 8000K HID projector headlights
-blacked out taillights
-AEM filter
-MAC Longtube headers
-MAC o/r h-pipe (2.5" tubing)
-Magnaflow high-flow cats (2.5" in/out)
-Summit Racing dual exhaust (2.5" mandrel-bent tubing)
-American Muscle short-throw shifter
-SCT X3 tuner
-Tenzo R "Rally" seats
-GT rear sway bar
(I know there's probably a half-dozen things I've forgotten to list)

I plan on having it lowered with new tires in the next few months (I have a rifle I want to buy first, though), then I'll be replacing the seats with Corbeaus, getting Corbeau 5pt harnesses, a Maximum Motorsports 6pt roll bar, and a few exterior goodies (Steeda spoiler, Steeda Y2KR splitter, etc).
